People in the U.S. sometimes think they don’t have enough sunshine to install solar. Let’s keep in mind that Germany started installing a lot of solar about 10 years ago.

As far as what to take away from looking at this map, the East Coast including Virginia, DC and Maryland get more sun hours than a good part of Europe. It’s sunnier longer for more of the year here than in sunny France or Italy.
