It’s the Ipsun Dog Days of Summer Challenge! We hope you’ll participate and join us to help food insecure families in our area. We’re supporting the One Neighborhood Foundation and matching your donations–we hope you’ll hop on board!
Our One Neighborhood Foundation donations go directly to delivering hot meals and grocery packs to local families in need, and also supports local restaurants who work with the foundation to prepare the meals. It’s like our own local version of Chef Jose Andres’ World Central Kitchen, and we’re so proud to support their work.
It’s easy to participate: If you’re an Ipsun customer, just send us a picture of you and your pet in front of your home— show your solar panels if possible—and we’ll celebrate by donating $100 per customer to the One Neighborhood Foundation!
If you’re not a current customer, you can join the fun and help out too. It’s easy to make a donation. Just log on to Venmo, search for @OneNeighborhood, and donate any amount. Write “Ipsun Dog Days Challenge for food insecure families” in the notes. Ipsun will match each donation up to $100 per person all month long. Just email us at bobby@ipsunsolar.com to let us know you’ve donated, and include a pic of you and/or your pet for our donors page!
The Challenge runs through August 30th, and we hope to raise at least $1000—please help us with our goal! You can tag us on social media @ipsunsolar with the pet photos as well. If you don’t have a pet, get creative! (Maybe borrow a neighbor’s?)
Make sure you get your donations in by August 31st so local families can start the school year out with a full pantry and a good hot meal delivered by a local restaurant. Of course, you can support ONF any time by sending a Venmo to @OneNeighborhood and typing “Ipsun Dog Days of Summer Challenge for local food insecure families.”
As always, thanks for being a part of the Ipsun fam, and helping us help our community!
