The National Solar Tour Starts Today!

Bringing this ever-popular weeklong event online gives everyone even more opportunity to learn and participate. Sign up for your favorite sessions today!

From September 28th to October 4th, hundreds of people across the nation will show off their solar homes and businesses. The National Solar Tour is the largest grassroots solar, renewable energy, and sustainable living event in the nation. Traditionally, the Tour brings together solar supporters, home and business owners, and community members together to celebrate and help grow solar in their communities.

In years past, Ipsun customers have hosted open houses to showcase their solar projects and help neighbors learn about the solar and battery storage possibilities for their own homes. This year, in the Tour’s 25th anniversary, the experience is going virtual. People across the country will be able to access Tour content from the comfort of their own homes.

Who is participating?

The 2020 National Solar Tour brings together solar energy supporters from every state. This year’s Tour is even bigger with an entire week of virtual programming. Solar homeowners, businesses, non-profit organizations, municipal buildings, places of worship, schools, and community solar gardens are hosting virtual Tours and participating in the week of programming.

Solar United Neighbors and the American Solar Energy Society are the lead organizers for the 2020 National Solar Tour in partnership with Generation 180.

What will attendees learn?
