PJM coordinates the movement of wholesale electricity in in all or parts of 13 states and the District of Columbia. As a local solar developer operating in Maryland, Virginia and Washington D.C., we have to interconnect our solar energy systems with the local utilities Pepco and Dominion Energy and other local Coops and they are managed by PJM. In other words, the solar power systems we install are coordinated by PJM. PJM reports to FERC, the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission.
